The Oakley MOD SNC is a versatile snow helmet and modular balaclava system designed to adapt to changing conditions on the mountain. The balaclava can be worn for full coverage, converted to a lightweight neck gaiter, or removed when you need less coverage. Strategically placed materials balance warmth and breathability, with 4-way stretch fabric insulating key areas while mesh panels improve airflow. A low-profile, seamless fit provides comfortable coverage without restricting movement, and a ponytail opening adds everyday convenience.
The helmet features an ultra-light in-mold construction that keeps weight down while providing reliable protection. Its 360° Fit System uses an adjustable dial for a secure, personalized fit, while the Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes fastening quick and easy, even while wearing gloves. Designed to work seamlessly with goggles, the MOD SNC also includes Ionic+ antimicrobial padding for a fresh, comfortable feel and Mips® technology to help provide enhanced protection during angled impacts.
- MODULAR BALACLAVA SYSTEM A new take on integration, the modular balaclava system lets riders tailor their setup to any condition, from full balaclava coverage on cold morning laps to a lightweight gaiter or no face coverage at all. The system uses strategically placed materials for performance: a heavier 4-way stretch fabric keeps the head, ears, and neck warm, while breathable mesh zones around the mouth ensure unrestricted airflow. Designed for total freedom and a clean, seamless fit, it even includes a ponytail opening for added comfort and versatility.
- ULTRALIGHT IN-MOLD SHELL MOD SNC strips weight down to the essentials, using an in-mold polycarbonate shell that feels closer to wearing nothing at all. Riders get the agility and freedom they want, without sacrificing the protection they need.
- OAKLEY 360° FIT SYSTEM A secure and highly adjustable fit system allows riders to dial in comfort quickly, eliminating pressure points and maintaining stability.
- FIDLOCK MAGNETIC BUCKLE The Fidlock closure makes fastening easy with gloves on, snapping securely into place with a magnetic assist. This small detail delivers speed and confidence where it matters most.
- ENHANCED PROTECTION MOD SNC is equipped with Mips® technology, giving riders an added layer of impact protection. Combined with a technical liner package, the helmet provides peace of mind while keeping comfort at the forefront.
