The HEAD Discovery 86 Pro is a versatile all mountain ski designed to perform across changing conditions. Its 86 mm waist provides a balanced platform for everything from fresh snow to chopped up terrain, while the Auxetic Technology delivers a progressive flex that becomes more supportive as you ski more aggressively. A Superframe full wood core adds strength and stability, giving the Discovery 86 Pro the versatility to handle everything from variable snow to fast groomer laps.
The HEAD Protector EVO PR 11 GW Ski Binding combines reliable performance with innovative technology designed to help reduce stress on the knees. Its Full Heel Release (FHR) system features an intelligent 180° heel release that allows both horizontal and vertical release during twisting falls, including backward falls. By reducing release forces and helping manage the load placed on the knee, the Protector EVO PR 11 GW provides added confidence and protection on the slopes.
- Auxetic Tech: Auxetic Tech provides a natural flex at slower speeds but when you start to really carve, the ski stiffens an supports your improvement.
- Superframe Construction: The Superframe Construction boosts torsional strength, keeping the ski stable even on churned-up snow. Its fully wrapped fiberglass structure distributes pressure evenly along the ski, providing maximum stability and control.
- Woodcore: The ski’s Wood Core offers natural strength and responsiveness. Combined with Superframe construction and Auxetic Tech, it stiffens as you push harder, making it dominate groomers. Off-trail, the wood core keeps the ski lightweight, ready to tackle anything you decide to.
- Graphene: The thinnest and lightest material known, used strategically in the ski to make it incredibly strong and lightweight—perfectly tuned to your riding style.
- UHM C Base: A tough, durable base that’s built to last. Reliable and steady, it won’t dazzle but will keep performing for years.
- Allmountain Rocker: Rocker that is equally at home on bulletproof snow as it is in powder. This profile uses early rise in the tip with regular camber throughout the rest of the ski.
