Forget all those fat-foot shaming idiots and their narrow boots; the Atomic Hawx Magna 110 S GW Ski Boots are here to make people with wider and thicker feet comfortable all day long on the hill, and possibly improve their skiing to "boot." Finally someone's offered a full Polyurethane shell and boot with extraordinary heat molding technology for those with wide feet, and if that sounds like you you should check out the Hawx Magna 110.
Fit
- Last: 102 mm – Designed for wider and higher volume feet. Extra space at the forefront and instep, plus a wide tongue and fluted calf.
- Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
- Adaptive Fit Cuff System – These boots come with a special spoiler in the back of the cuff. If you want a classic, cozy fit around the calf you can just leave the spoiler in. If you want more volume you can take the spoiler out. This makes the boot cuff slightly lower at the back, more tuliped and more open (equivalent to one cuff size larger). It's quick, easy and you don't need tools.
- Dual-Sided Cuff Alignment
Flex
- Flex: 110 – For intermediate to advanced riders
Liner
- Mimic Gold Liner – Atomic's new Mimic liners mold thoroughly on both the inner and outer surfaces for a custom fit like you've never experienced.
- 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation – Keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions.
- 3D Stretch Toe Box – Asymmetrically shaped for left and right, the new 3D Stretch Toe Box takes first fit and customization potential to the next level. Its ‘Big Toe Friendly’ construction maximizes the liner’s available length allowing for a little extra stretch when important millimeters are required to achieve the perfect fit.
Shell Materials & Design
- Cuff – Polyurethane
- Shell – Polyurethane
- Prolite – Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Stance
- Forward Lean – 15˚
- Power Shift – Forward lean can be quickly adjusted to 13°, 15° (default) or 17°. Add a bolt on 110 / 120 models to stiffen flex. Remove a bolt on 130 model to soften flex.
Buckles
- 6000 Series Aluminum Buckles
Power Strap
- 40mm Velcro Strap
Sole
