Review: JUPA Winter Clothing for Children and Teens
by Source For Sports Cross Country Skiing
Designed to meet the specific needs of active children, Jupa fabrics are tested to prevent abrasions, tears, fading and to be machine washable.
For over 30 years, Canadian company Jupa has been creating children’s technical winter outerwear.
Designed to meet the specific needs of active children, Jupa fabrics are tested to prevent abrasions, tears, fading and to be machine washable. Outerwear is waterproof, but also breathes well during physical activities.
Details such as critical seam seals on the hood, shoulders, armhole and pant front and back rise keep water out of the seams, and reinforced knees on the pants increase durability. Every Jupa style incorporates thoughtful design touches such removable balaclavas, goggle pockets, MP3 and ski pass sleeves, snow skirts and pant cuffs, as well as safety features like reflective trimmings and identification labels.
Perhaps the most appreciated design feature for parents is the built-in growth seams that allow pant legs and sleeves to grow with your child, maximizing the longevity and use of the outfit. Tabs on the pant bottoms allow you to adjust the length of the pant so the hem doesn’t get damaged. As your child grows, you can easily extend the jacket sleeves and pant legs by removing a seam.
As well, the coordinated and exclusive prints can be matched with every other piece from the Jupa collection!
